At the June 9th council meeting, Mayor Butrico vetoed the Ordinances which would have put trucks back on Hamilton Boulevard. The Republicans were unable to over ride the Mayor's veto because it was revealed that Republican Councilmember Bengivenga works for one of the trucking companies and has a conflict of interest. However at the June 23rd council meeting the Republicans reintroduced the Ordinances and Bengivenga said he is going to vote on them this time. This type of disregard for our residents and for the rule of law must end. Please come to the council meetings and show your support for the Mayor and Council members Petronko and Scrudato.
